HHS Criminal Justice Program

ABOUT ME:
Hello! My name is Karen Hall and I am very excited to be the criminal justice teacher at Harpeth HS. As far back as I can remember I have been interested in law & law enforcement and I have found every opportunity to expand my knowledge in all areas of the criminal justice system.
What are my criminal justice qualifications? Excellent question.
  • BS in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University
  • Patrol Officer - Fulton County Police Department (Atlanta, GA)
  • School Resource Officer - Fulton County Schools (Chattahoochee HS & Milton HS)
  • Paralegal - Weatherly Law Firm (Atlanta, GA)
  • Criminal Justice Teacher - Milton High School, Alpharetta, GA
As a teacher and former law enforcement officer I continually look for opportunities to keep up with best practices and industry standards so I can give my students the most up to date information.

Outside of school, I am also a mother and wife!  My husband is a Methodist minister who works for the Upper Room Ministries of the United Methodist Church in downtown Nashville.  We have two children, our oldest, Jacob  is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corp with his wife and our granddaughter (and future grandchild due in December 2019!).  Our second child, Mariela is a sophomore at Harpeth HS and active in softball and music.

As a family we are excited to be living in the Nashville area and serving the students of Cheatham County.
