About me

I am the Library Media Specialist at Harpeth High School. 

 

Born and raised in Western Kentucky, I graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Marketing. Through Tennessee State University, I earned my Master in Education in Curriculum & Instruction. I taught High School Business & Marketing Education before starting my career in Library Science. My family relocated to Kingston Springs in 2017 where I continued my graduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University to earn a Library certification.

 

In 2019, I started working in the Cheatham County School District as the librarian at Ashland City Elementary. While I truly enjoyed my time at ACESA , I am so happy to be working in the community where I live and where my children go to school. The students and staff at Harpeth High School are simply the best! 

 

I look forward to continuing to make the Harpeth High School library a safe and inviting space for our students.
