The Cheatham County School District’s Title I Department and School Resource Officers are teaming up to host a free “Parenting Today” program on April 23.

The two-hour program begins at 6 p.m. at the Educational Annex Board Room, 104 Elizabeth St. in Ashland City. Among the topics to be discussed are drugs, alcohol, tobacco and nicotine usage, cyberbullying and internet safety.

Parents of all middle school and high school students are encouraged to attend. A light meal will be served. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
