HHS Students selected for Youth Leadership Cheatham County

Youth Leadership Cheatham County helps develop leadership qualities in high school students by exposing them to different aspects of county life during the school year including agriculture, career exploration, natural resources, and government.

Activities include learning through hands-on opportunities, lecture, and interactive learning, participants truly engage with leaders all over the county, all while building leadership skills of their own.

This year, Harpeth students Abigayle Harris and Scarlet Pajer have learned about local emergency services hosted by the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, explored the Harpeth River State Park, met with agriculture leaders, and much more.
