About me
I am the Visual Art and a World History teacher (this year) at Harpeth. This is my 11th year in the building, 15th year overall. I have taught in Knox, Claiborne, and Montgomery County, ranging from Kindergarten all the way up to 12th grade.
I was born in Texas, lived in Japan, and then my family settled in West Tennessee. I met my now wife at UT-Martin, and we both moved to Knoxville for grad school, where I got my Master's in Education after being a professional designer for several years and deciding I didn't want that to be my next 30-40 years of life. My wife earned her D.V.M. at Knoxville and she has been practicing Veterniary Medicine since and has since gotten into beekeeping as well.
We have a small zoo of animals in our home, as well as a 4.5 year old little boy named Cyrus.
