About me

Liesl Palmer – Physical Science & Biology 

I was named after the eldest daughter in The Sound of Music, raised in Arkansas with 5 brothers and sisters, western college educated, relocated to Tennessee 16 years ago from Philadelphia.  My husband and I have 4 grown sons, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 55 acres and live next to the game reserve.   

I’ve worked for Cheatham County for 10 years between HMS and HHS.   I love the beautiful rural environment of Cheatham County - Being surrounded by nature is the best therapy.   

On Saturdays and during the summer, I’m usually bush hogging, trimming trees, walking, hiking, catching up on chores and schoolwork.  I love dancing – just about all genres from line –ballroom.  I’m also a confirmed clothes horse. I’ve been married to an amazing man for many years, and enjoy spending time with him.  We like board games, are Star Wars fans, Lord of the Rings fanatics, and devout Christians.
