About the teacher...
Gabriela DiCarlo obtained her Bachelor of Art and Master of Art degrees in English
through Austin Peay State University. She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and has
comfortably made Tennessee her home since 2015. Having started her teaching journey
at the college level in 2019, she has found a sense of belonging in the High School
English classroom. Ms. DiCarlo has taught every High School English subject, including
AP and Dual Enrollment, and is passionate about inspiring her students. Her hobbies
include reading, playing tennis, and collecting antiques.
