About Mrs. Saar
I am originally from northwestern Pennsylvania. I grew up close to some pretty cool places such as Lake Erie, Canada, Kinzua (land of the Seneca) vineyards, and a large Amish community. I attended college just north of Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!) at Slippery Rocky University, where I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education. I moved to good old Tennessee after meeting and marrying my Husband Jay, a now Army Veteran. I attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL. My husband and I have three children, Reigna (27), Zack (19), and Anika (17). We also have an adorable Granddaughter named Kinsley who is 2 and don't forget my amazing pup Tux! While I have lived and taught in many places, I am thrilled to be here in Kingston Springs and to be a Harpeth Indian!
