About me

I am the Library Media Specialist at Harpeth High School. I am now in my fifth year at Harpeth High School and am proud to be part of the Harpeth community.

Born and raised in Western Kentucky, I graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing. I went on to earn a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee State University. Before beginning my career in library science, I taught high school Business and Marketing Education. After my family relocated to Kingston Springs in 2017, I continued my graduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University, where I earned my Library Science certification.

In addition to serving students through the library, I help sponsor Harpeth Havoc and the Harpeth High School Student Book Club. I enjoy finding ways to encourage student involvement, build school culture, and help students develop a sense of belonging within our school community.

I look forward to continuing to make the Harpeth High School library a safe, welcoming, and inviting space where every student feels supported and encouraged to learn, discover, and grow.
